Initial
Contact From initial contact with customer, arrangements are made
for the customer to bring the vehicle in, or for a tow truck if vehicle is not
driveable. Where the insurance company has allowed a rental, one will be
provided. Alternately, we can arrange for a loaner car. If your vehicle is a
total loss (i.e. beyond repair), a loaner car will not be provided by Calgary
Coachworks but may be made available by the insurance company at their
discretion.
Work
Specification One the vehicle is at the shop, an estimate will be
provided by either our shop estimator or the insurance company. This estimate
is then agreed upon by the policy holder, keeping in mind this is just an
estimate and does not cover parts price increases or hidden damage. Some
insurance companies today support digital imagery allowing pictures of damage to
be sent directly to them, thus increasing the speed of the approval
process.
Authorization Once we
have authorization from both the customer and the insurance company (if
applicable) we will order parts. Upon receipt of parts, the vehicle is
scheduled into the body shop production.
Refinishing The most up
to date spray booths and top quality polyester and urethane based paints are
used resulting in a factory finish and providing a modern, environmentally
friendly approachh to refinishing.
Progress
Updates Customers are welcome to drop by the shop or phone to find
out the day to day progress of their vehicles. Our friendly and knowledgeable
staff are always available to answer any questions that may arise.
Guarantee We
guarantee all workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle against defective
material or defective workmanship. We cannot guarantee against accidents, rust,
acid stains, misuse or abuse, chipping or work done or redone by
others.
